Facebook Snooze Lets You Mute Friends for 30 Days

The statement that unfriending them would make is just not worth the headache, and honestly, you love to see what they're up to, but you don't want to be inundated with that (pet, child, meal) every time you open up Facebook.

What's fascinating is that a company founded on the idea of keeping in constant contact with friends from your life or from people you wouldn't otherwise hear from has moved on to finding as many ways as possible for users to not hear from those people.

Rather than unfriend or unfollow them (which can get tricky with people you actually know), Facebook has come up with a new solution: Snoozing.

If you don't Unsnooze, though, a Snooze will automatically expire after a month.
