Taylor Swift speaks on Denver stopover

Published by Annette de Wet

One Twitter user tweeted, "Did we really need Taylor Swift in here though?" in response to the cover.

Swift was named by Time Magazine as one of their 'People Of The Year 2018'. Swift refused to let his attorney place any blame on her, taking an incredible and empowering stance as she spoke in court.

Taylor in an interview with Time said: "her case against Mueller was ultimately to serve as an example to other women who may resist publicly reliving similar outrageous and humiliating acts".

Swift refused to be bullied on the stand. She released Reputation, her most aggressive, pointed album to date.

Swift's straightforward testimony was widely reported at the time, and she explained that that was the only way to counteract what she'd been through.

Taylor Swift has a new squad thanks to Time magazine's "Person of the Year" honor. Swift countersued for a single dollar, and in August a jury agreed with her version of the incident.

Why was it important for you to come forward about what happened to you? Swift repeatedly reiterated the same point: "He stayed attached to my bare ass-cheek as I lurched away from him". At the time, I was headlining a major arena tour and there were a number of people in the room that saw this plus a photo of it happening. The Associated Press reports that Mueller has provided them with a letter to prove he sent the payment on November 28, but in what he calls a "final jab" at the singer, he paid her with a Sacagawea coin.

76ers Trade Jahlil Okafor to Nets In Multi-Player Deal
Okafor has played in only two games for the 76ers this season and has seen his minutes dwindle as his career has progressed. This trade now gives Brooklyn two of the three top picks from the 2015 NBA Draft in less than one season.

Now, please allow me to put in my own two cents for just a moment.

If you feel like you've been the victim of sexual harassment at work - including conduct such as offensive jokes, slurs, name-calling, physical assaults or threats, intimidation, ridicule or mockery, insults or put-downs, offensive objects or pictures, and interference with work performance - there are groups who will support you and help you break your silence. My mom was so upset after her cross-examination, she was physically too ill to come to court the day I was on the stand. "I was angry. In that moment, I made a decision to forgo any courtroom formalities and just answer the questions the way it happened". Why should I be polite? The Colorado-based jury ruled in Swift's favor.

How have people responded to your story?

'The details were all skewed, as they often are. At first, everyone thought that Taylor was suing him.
