Buy one get one: T-Mobile's tempting BOGO offer includes iPhones

Carriers generally excluded the iPhone X from the holiday promotions due to limited supplies of the ultra high-end phone, which resulted in artificially high demand and led to a relatively calm competitive environment in recent months. Additionally, T-Mobile added the iPhone X to its #GetOutOfTheRed program.

T-Mobile announced today a trio of smartphone deals including a buy one, get one (BOGO) offer that may be too good to pass up. Verizon and AT&T just got put on notice. And with T-Mobile ONE, you'll get unlimited LTE data on America's best unlimited network, Netflix included on family plans, free stuff every T-Mobile Tuesday and taxes and fees included. The headline deal is that iPhone X promo, which actually applies to three iPhones.

The BOGO deal is available on the Apple iPhone 8 (64GB), iPhone 7, and iPhone 7 Plus, as well as the Samsung Galaxy S8, and the LG G6, V30, and V30+. You can also get a buy one, get $750 off the second on the Samsung Galaxy Note8, S8 Active, and S8 Plus.

In addition to the iPhone X deal, T-Mobile also has offers on almost every other flagship smartphone available.

As always with T-Mobile's deals, there are some terms and conditions attached.

Meanwhile, if you just need one new smartphone, T-Mobile has a separate deal you might be interested in: $150 back via rebate when you purchase a new Samsung or LG handset on the company's Equipment Installment Plan and trade in a qualifying smartphone. For customers searching just one new smartphone, T-Mobile is offering a $150 rebate on Samsung and LG flagships, including the Galaxy S8, Note 8, LG V30, and more. Once you've done all that, you go to T-Mobile's online rebate center, fill in some paperwork, and you'll get a prepaid MasterCard for your $700 in the mail within two months. The carrier will offer $150 via rebate in addition to the value of the phone traded in.
