CNN's Sanjay Gupta Mocked on Twitter for Declaring Trump Has Heart Disease

News reported on the President's annual physical exam and an extra exam he received that was a cognitive screening test for memory loss and early dementia. Trump responded to the criticism by calling himself a "very stable genius" on Twitter and then allowing cameras to film him negotiating immigration legislation with senators at the White House for 55 minutes last week.

Jackson held an extraordinary news conference at the White House that lasted for about an hour.

"He has gone above and beyond what I would consider a requirement to demonstrate his cognitive abilities", Jackson said. Most people score an average of 27.4, meaning Trump is faring pretty good as far as the Montreal Cognitive Assessment is concerned. "I don't know", Jackson said. We talked about diet and exercise a lot.

CNN's chief medical correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta disputed President Trump's clean bill of health this week, claiming that the numbers actually suggest the president has heart disease.

Trump's health information was published on Tuesday in the "President's Periodic Physical Exam", his first physical since taking office.

Trump weighs 239 pounds and is 6 feet 3 inches tall. Critics point to the fact that Trump's listed height and weight barely keeps him under the threshold for being classified as obese.

Jackson said that during the exam he and Trump discussed his diet, setting a goal of losing 10-15 pounds.

"He's eating what the chefs are cooking for him now and they're cooking a much healthier diet for him now and we're going to continue working on that and make that even healthier", the doctor said. Jackson added that Trump has a history of elevated cholesterol but is now taking medication to treat it.

The physician said he would increase Mr Trump's daily dose of Crestor, a cholesterol-lowering drug, and bring in a nutritionist to work with White House chefs.

Trump "was watching and liked it", an official said after the briefing.

Asked by a reporter how the president can eat McDonald's and drink Diet Cokes and still be healthy, he answered, "It's called genetics". "Some people have just great genes".

Graham made his presentation, the president interrupted him several times with questions. Why don't you take this off my hands and weigh me again, okay? It is a well-known and well-tested assessment that doctors can quickly use to detect "mild cognitive dysfunction", according to the test instructions.
