Cranberries singer Dolores O'Riordan was preparing new version of 'Zombie'

According to Radar Online, O'Riordan opened up about being sexually abused during an interview in the fall of 2013. She also had a history of drug and alcohol abuse.

O'Riordan said depression "is one of the worst things to go through", but that "I've also had a lot of joy in my life, especially with my children".

Eventually, the memories sparked suicidal thoughts and caused severe bouts of depression.

"You think it is your own fault". Only one Auntie Lolo, you will be sorely missed.

She spoke of wanting to "make myself disappear" and in 2014 said: "I am not going to live that long. So sorry to hear that she's passed away today x", tweeted Corden. O'Riordan didn't know how to react to the apology and consulted her priest on how to move forward. Mayor Stephen Keary said O'Riordan "put Limerick on the music map and on a world stage". Her music helped me not die when I thought life would kill me.

LONDON-Irish singer-songwriter Dolores O'Riordan, frontwoman of the multi-million selling rock band The Cranberries , died suddenly in London on Monday, aged 46, her publicist said. She was only 46.

The remaining members of the Cranberries, Noel and Mike Hogan and Fergal Lawler, said they were "devastated" and felt "very privileged to have been a part of her life from 1989 when we started the Cranberries". Dolores O'Riordan was a teenager when she wrote the lyrics to the band's second single, "Linger", in response to a first kiss.

The Cranberries' top five streaming songs (audio and video combined) on January 15 following O'Riordan's death were: "Zombie" (2 million), "Linger" (1.6 million), "Dreams" (1.3 million), "Ode to My Family" (554,000), and "When You're Gone" (432,000).

Police initially said the death was "unexplained", but on Tuesday ruled it was ruled as non-suspicious, meaning that they found no evidence of foul play. In the evening, people switched on 2FM, the popular music station of the national broadcaster RTE, where the host Louise McSharry dispensed with her plans and instead gave the two-hour program over to the Cranberries' music. Last year, The Cranberries had to cancel a concert tour because the singer was experiencing back problems.

The band's first singles "Dream" and "Linger" and the full-length album "Everybody Else is Doing It, So Why Can't We?" failed to gain much attention upon their initial release in 1992, but after being played extensively by MTV, were re-issued and peaked on the United Kingdom charts.
