When it comes to eating at In-N-Out Burger, the trick has always been knowing the "not-so-secret" menu in order to increase your options. Perhaps 2018 will be different.

In-N-Out Burger is now serving hot cocoa - with marshmallow - on its menu.

In-N-Out Burger rarely adds new menu items.

An In-N-Out customer service representative said the hot chocolates come in 8-ounce and 16-ounce sizes priced at $1.60 and $2.45 before tax.

In-N-Out consumers will have more options than just a milkshake should they wish to finish off their double-double and fries with something sweet, now that the iconic Irvine-based restaurant has chose to once again include hot cocoa on its menu.

During a visit to a restaurant in Orange, the sweet beverage was poured from a thermal dispenser labeled "Hot Cocoa" in the chain's signature red font.

In-N-Out will source cocoa powder from Ghirardelli Chocolate Company for their drinks, which will be served with water in a traditional white cup with palm trees on it.

"My grandparents, Harry and Esther Snyder, served it for many years beginning in the 50s", Snyder said in a statement, according to KABC-TV.

The last time In-N-Out altered its menu was to add lemonade back in the early 2000s, reports say. But if you thought In-N-Out was flawless before, buckle up, friends - somehow it got even better.

It isn't the first time the chain has offered hot cocoa.

It will likely take at least three years before Colorado sees its first Double-Double.
