Kim Kardashian and Kanye West welcome their third child

It's a girl for Kim Kardashian West and her husband, Kanye West, via surrogate.

Kim confirmed the news on her app, writing, "Kanye and I are happy to announce the arrival of our healthy, attractive baby girl".

She continued to say that "Kanye and I are happy to announce the arrival of our healthy, lovely baby girl".

The newest Kardashian takes the family of four to one of five as she joins older sister North, 4, and brother Saint, 2. Since, Kim suffered from a grave medical condition-placenta accreta during her second pregnancy; the couple had hired a surrogate for their third baby.

TMZ also reported that the Wests paid US$45,000 (RM178,267.50) to the surrogate - who was banned from smoking and taking drugs as well as taking hot baths, dying her hair and eating raw fish during the pregnancy. No name has been announced for the newest member of the family as of yet.

Star Wars is trying to solve Hollywood's super-villain problem
There were high expectations coming into this film but nothing like what was felt right after the movie had been seen. After an hour, I would have filled up pages and pages writing down the notes and one-liners that she would pitch.

"Kylie is getting scared as her due date approaches, and she has been leaning on her big sister Kim and her mom Kris who have both been a rock of support", a source close to the reality star revealed to Hollywood Life on January 16.

Kardashian and West confirmed in September that they were expecting their third child.

The third generation of Kardashian-Jenners already include Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick's kids (Mason, 8; Penelope, 5; and Reign, 3) along with 1-year-old Dream, Rob Kardashian's daughter with Blac Chyna. "Anyone that says or thinks it is just the easy way out is just completely wrong". The birth of the couple's baby comes as Kim's sister Khloe prepares to welcome her first baby with her basketball star boyfriend, Tristan Thompson. The surrogate was apparently allowed to have brief contact with the baby before she was immediately put in the care of mum Kim. It makes a bit of sense, if you think about it. Anywho, love and congratulations to the Kardashian West family!

Kardashian previously told Ellen DeGeneres that she and Kanye probably wouldn't choose another "direction" moniker.

'So it's definitely a harder experience than I anticipated in the control area'. "So she was really proud to do it and really excited".
