Princess Charlotte Looks Beyond Adorable on Her First Day of Nursery School

Princess Charlotte's first day at nursery school has been marked by the release of two pictures taken by her proud mother, the Duchess of Cambridge. She also had on a pink backpack in the photos, with a matching pink scarf. Though Charlotte looks a little more excited, the resemblance is evident.

It has an all-female staff and is run by Lavinia Taylor, who has been headmistress since September 2009.

Tuition is about $18,000 for the morning and afternoon session, according to the school's website.

Just last month, the family announced that Charlotte would be starting school in the New Year. There are three terms in the year, so that costs families around £9,150, or about $12,200, per year.

Girl Scouts start cookie sales in East Tennessee
Be on the lookout for the Girls Scouts of Southern Appalachians, they're usually setup near grocery stores around the area. Cookies are $4 per box, except the Toffee-tastic and Girl Scout S'mores cookie varieties which are $5.

But it appears that you get your money's worth, based on the glowing Ofsted report. "As a result, no time is wasted and children enjoy a productive learning experience".

The Duchess of Cambridge, who is expecting her third child in April, was forced to miss her son's first day at school a year ago due to morning sickness.

She'll be attending The Willcocks Nursery School, a program that is very close to Kensington Palace and describes itself as a "traditional nursery school which strives to maintain its ethos for high standards, excellence and good manners".

A spokesperson for Kensington Palace added: 'They felt it was ideal as a first step for Princess Charlotte's early education and they were impressed by the team that work there'. "We look forward to welcoming Charlotte to our nursery in January".
