Trump Lawyer Paid Porn Actress $130000 For Silence Just Before Election

Letter from Stormy Daniels

A former adult film star was paid $130,000 by an attorney working for Donald Trump a month before he was elected US president under the condition to remain silent about a sexual encounter with Trump, the Wall Street Journal reported Friday, citing people familiar with the matter.

Trump married his wife Melania in 2005.

In statements sent to The Wall Street Journal, both the White House and Cohen strongly denied any sexual incident between Trump and Clifford, but made no reference to a payment to the actress, whose stage name is Stormy Daniels.

Cohen called the allegations of an affair "outlandish" and "a false narrative". According to the Journal, one of them was Clifford, who negotiated the payment and nondisclosure agreement the same month that Drake came forward publicly.

Trump also was there with Carolyn Kepcher, a Trump Organization executive who co-starred with her boss in his NBC reality show "The Apprentice". In its reporting, the Smoking Gun found that Clifford herself tried to shop stories to publications about her relationship with Trump.

December CPI inflation over 5.2%, dashing hopes of RBI rate cut
It revised November data to show a gain of 0.9 per cent instead of the previously reported 0.8 per cent increase. Meanwhile, used auto and truck prices jumped 1.4% in the month, while new vehicle prices gained 0.6%.

Trump lawyer Michael Cohen further condemned the report of the sexual encounter, which he vehemently denies occurred. According to NBC San Diego, Clifford allegedly hit her husband multiple times after getting upset over unpaid bills.

An attorney whom the WSJ said had represented Ms Clifford declined to comment, citing attorney-client privilege. When he was asked about the accusations during the final presidential debate, Trump said that the stories were "totally false" and that his accusers "want either fame or her [Hillary Clinton's] campaign did it". Back in November 2016, WSJ reported that Clifford was in talks to go public with her story on Good Morning America, but eventually backed out. "When I met Donald Trump, he was gracious, professional and a complete GENTLEMAN to me and everyone in my presence", the statement says.

The same month the deal was cut, the Washington Post published the infamous "Access Hollywood" video, in which Trump boasts about groping women, saying he could "grab them by the p-y".

In a meeting last fall, the president apparently said that a female intelligence expert should be assisting the U.S.in its negotiations with North Korea purely because of her Korean heritage, NBC News reported.
