Chelsea winger Eden Hazard showers praise on FC Barcelona star Lionel Messi

Chelsea FC won the Premier League title with two games to spare last season after the Blues finished seven points clear of their closest challengers Tottenham.

While sitting fourth in the Premier League and having qualified for the knockout stages of the Champions League may be most clubs' dreams, its nearly been a season of nightmares for Chelsea.

The defending Premier League champions suffered a humiliating 4-1 defeat at London rivals Watford at Vicarage Road last week. It's hard to win every year.

Antonio Conte's job appears to be safe at the moment, though a poor result against the Baggies could perhaps be the final straw with the Blues not losing three league games in row since October 1999.

Speaking with ESPN at the big fancy Nike Mercurial event earlier this week, Hazard also reflected on the nature of the league itself, with parity and competition levels above those seen in most other leagues.

"That's why we love football. I'm pretty sure we can beat them if we play together. That's why football is special", the midfielder added.

"We are still in the FA Cup and the Champions League and the end of our season could turn out to be good".

Coming to the players, except the star man Eden Hazard and the centre-back Andreas Christensen, no one seems to be performing at their best. Now, above most else, we have to ensure that will be the case for at least another 5.5.

Chelsea have looked lost and exhausted in majority of the matches this season.

Get it done, please.
