Donald Trump Joins With Russian Bots to Trash Mark Warner on Twitter

Secrecy seemed very important to Warner as the conversation with Waldman heated up March 29, when the lobbyist revealed that Steele wanted a bipartisan letter from Warner and the committee's chairman, North Carolina Republican Sen.

Marco RubioMarco Antonio RubioTrump must send Russian Federation powerful message through tougher actions McCain, Coons immigration bill sparks Trump backlash Taking a strong stance to protect election integrity MORE (R) dismissed a Fox News report on Thursday that claimed Sen. Warner disclosed the texts "four months ago", that would have been several months after Warner exchanged the texts. The senator repeatedly asked the lobbyist to help him establish a direct link to the former British intelligence officer and warned him to be "careful".

The texts were turned over to the intelligence committee last September, according to the Fox News report. Warner did not want a "paper trail" on a "private" meeting (in London) he requested with Steele of fraudulent Dossier fame. "Richard Burr, inviting him to talk to the Senate intelligence panel", Fox News' Ed Henry breathlessly writes.

Was it a coincidence that a Clinton linked firm had access to the author of the Steele dossier, when a top Dem didn't? Steele is the former MI6 spy who compiled a dossier that accuses Trump's campaign of working with the Kremlin to interfere in the 2016 election.

The dossier contains unverified allegations that Russian Federation holds information on Trump which it's using to blackmail the USA president.

President Trump himself was stunned by Warner's texts.

Sekulow's comments may hint to the White House's mounting defense of Trump amid multiple, ongoing investigations into Russian influence in the 2016 presidential election and collusion with the Trump campaign.

Waldman served as a lobbyist for controversial Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska, whose USA visa was revoked by the State Department in 2006 due to his extensive organized crime ties.

The texts between Waldman and Warner suggest that Steele had a connection to Waldman. The two then privately informed other committee members about the messages in a meeting in October, Fox News reports. But aides to Warner and Burr both stressed that the chairman was kept apprised of Warner's efforts.

"Has had zero impact on our work", Rubio insisted.

Endeavor's partners include Lorrie McHugh-Wytkind, formerly "Communications Director for Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton and Deputy Press Secretary for Media Affairs and Operations for President Bill Clinton", and its advisers include Bruce Babbitt, Secretary of the Interior under Bill Clinton and a Hillary supporter during the Democratic presidential primaries.
