Julia Louis Dreyfus Shares First Photo After Surgery For Cancer

Julia-Louis-Dreyfus

We at Paste continue to wish Louis-Dreyfus the best in her fight against breast cancer.

It's official - Julia Louis Dreyfus is not going to let cancer get her down.

'Hoorah! Great doctors, great results, feeling happy and ready to rock after surgery, ' she captioned the handsome image. "Hey cancer, 'F-k you!' Here's my first post-op photo".

Louis-Dreyfus previously revealed in an Instagram post that she had completed her second round of chemotherapy.

To celebrate their co-star's progress in her battle against cancer, Veep's Timothy Simons and Tony Hale recorded a video lip-syncing to Katy Perry's 2013 song "Roar".

The Seinfeld alum first spoke out about her health on September 28.

Louis-Dreyfus shared messages from her "glorious group of supportive and caring friends" on Twitter as she battled the disease. Miss being at the table with you all.

No doubt Julia Louis-Dreyfus will be in attendance over the next couple of years. She might even have the chance to make history once again if the final season of Veep snags more nominations. It will be awhile until then, though, as the show is still on hiatus.

The Emmy Award-winning actress is slated to return to filming Veep in August just in time for its 2019 season premiere.
