Donald Trump Jr, the eldest son of President Donald Trump, attends an event at the Trump Tower in Mumbai, India, Thursday, Feb. 22, 2018.

Donald Trump Jr. said that any talk of his family profiting from his father's presidency is "nonsense" while on a visit to India that has raised ethical concerns about using the name of the American president to promote worldwide business ventures. For over a week the front pages of many Indian newspapers have promised that buyers who put down a deposit for an apartment in the new Trump Towers in a New Delhi suburb will get to spend Friday evening being wined and dined by Trump Jr.

The initial title and the visit, in general, drew backlash from some politicians and ethics watchdogs, because they suspect that Trump Jr. would mix his father's politics with business during the weeklong visit.

Trump Jr., an executive vice president of the Trump Organization Inc., was in India selling the company's luxury condominiums.

With summer already approaching, it is far too warm for cosy fires in New Delhi.

Donald Trump Jr, son of US President Donald Trump, on Friday said he loves the Indian media as it is "mild and nice" compared to the "aggressive and brutal" American media.

In the letter to Ambassador Kenneth Juster, Menendez asked if diplomats had briefed Trump Jr. during his visit or provided any support staff. Menendez also asked Juster whether any steps were taken "to make clear to the Indian government and citizens of the country that Mr. Trump in no way speaks on behalf of the United States government".

"Given that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and multiple government ministers will speak at the same event, I am concerned that Trump's speech will send the mistaken message that he is speaking on behalf of the President, the administration or the United States government, not as a private individual, or that he is communicating official American policy", Menendez said.

He then unified the interim and undisputed titles by knocking out Jose Aldo in 13 seconds in December of 2015. It is on them to come and get me. "He's a liar.

As the trip was scrutinized in the media, Trump Jr.'s speech was rebranded as a "fireside chat".

Ethicists have raised concerns about the possible mixing of Trump family business interests with the policies of President Trump.

Since Tuesday, Trump Jr has been travelling to four Indian cities to meet business partners and buyers in the luxury residential projects that bear his family's name.

The Trump Organization has five projects in India, making it the company's largest market outside the U.S., a company spokesman told CNN in November.

Trump Jr.'s visit so far has been very different from his sister Ivanka Trump's high-visibility visit to India in November, when she led the US contingent at a global business conference.

In another interview with CNBC-TV18 - a CNBC affiliate - he dismissed charges of "profiteering from the presidency" as nonsense, saying the Trump business was getting hurt as no new projects were being signed.

India is Trump Organisation's biggest global market, with four real estate projects underway in Mumbai, Pune, Kolkata, and Gurugram. A luxury complex is already open in the central city of Pune, with other developments in varying stages of construction in the coastal cities of Mumbai and Kolkata, and two in Gurgaon.
