YouTube censures Alex Jones for harassing Florida school shooting survivor

The Alex Jones Channel, Infowar's biggest YouTube account, received one strike for that video, a source with knowledge of the account told CNN.

The now-deleted controversial video that prompted YouTube to apologize was uploaded by a user named Mike M. and resurfaces content from the video Hogg filmed during the lifeguard confrontation, Fox News noted.

The family of one of the survivors of the South Florida school shooting, who has been accused of being a "crisis actor" by conspiracy theorists, is now receiving death threats, according to the student's mom. Speaking to CNN, Hogg said, "I'm not a crisis actor". It depicted Hogg and other students as "crisis actors" - a term used by conspiracy theorists who believe that mass shootings like Parkland are staged events to drum up support for gun control. The channel has been in operation since 2008 and now boasts over 2.2 million subscribers. The YouTube spokesperson said the videos sent in by CNN were flagged to the policy team for review on Thursday evening. A notice on the video now says, "This video has been removed for violating YouTube's policy on harassment and bullying".

YouTube's guidelines state that if an account receives two strikes in a three-month period, it will be banned for two weeks, and if it receives two more strikes in three months, the account will be permanently banned.

Dow Jones, S&P 500 gain led by energy shares; Nasdaq down
Despite Fed's hawkish views, bets in the U. "I think we are set up for an interesting Monday morning". Worries of rising inflation were at the heart of a stock market rout earlier this month.

A New York Times piece examining the freaky instance which, sadly, remains common, revealed that the poster's further commentary on the video explicitly stated that those who spoke out in favor of gun control were "crisis actors".

Mr. Jones has previously touted conspiracies in the wake of school shootings, most notably when he called the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre a "hoax" and "completely fake".

CORRECTION: The headline of this piece has been updated to more accurately reflect the fact that InfoWars' main YouTube channel is two strikes away from being banned from YouTube.
