Apple may release a cheaper Mac Book Air

The publication highlights the lack of any kind of innovation with the product, putting special emphasis on its poor specs that don't justify its expensive price.

It is likely, MacBook Air the 2018 and will receive a new display, because the current version supports the old solution 1440h900 pixels, as Windows laptops for $ 250.

The report comes from KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who is considered a foremost expert when it comes to Apple forecasts. Price, exterior and other settings MacBook Air 2018 at the moment remain unknown.

Apple's decision to upgrade their existing 13-inch MacBook Air is long overdue. The current model now starts at $999 and could get much costlier depending on options. The base $999 model includes a 13.3-inch 1,440-by-900 resolution display, a 128GB SSD, 8GB of RAM, and is powered by a dual core 1.8GHz Intel Core i5-5350U with Intel HD Graphics 6000 integrated GPU. Haselton is of the opinion that it makes sense for the Cupertino firm to offer a more affordable MacBook Air, which is rumored to be launched in the second quarter of the year. In fact, they discontinued the 11-inch MacBook Air and gave the 13-inch model a minor bump to its base processor in June previous year.
