Days Gone heads to 2019 as Sony spreads out zombie games

PS4 Exclusive 'Days Gone' Delayed into 2019

Days Gone has been an E3 hit since its debut, with the screen filled with running, crawling, and snarling zombies.

The game was announced at the Sony conference at E3 2016 as a new original project by SIE Bend Studio, a company known for taking charge of the development of Uncharted: Gold Abyss and Uncharted: Fight for Fortune. Witwer plays Deacon St. John, the protagonist of Days Gone, and he told Huckaby that there's a "whole bunch of hours" of cinematics in Days Gone.

Fast-forward to early February 2018 and we learn that Days Gone needs a lot of important roles to help out with whatever popped up a couple months after December.

The report comes from USGamer after finding Sony's official website has changed the date from 2018 to 2019. The game is still a bit mysterious though so hopefully we get more information at E3 2018, though this delay could change those plans. Days Gone won't be coming out this year and will now launch sometime in 2019. It's being developed by Syphon Filter developer, Sony Bend. The game was supposed to come out this year, though there wasn't any indication of exactly when the game would come out.
