Did Nicki Minaj Force Demi Lovato to Attend an Emergency AA Meeting?

Miserable night Demi Lovato has opened up about the night she attended the Met Gala in 2016 which drove her to attend an AA meeting afterwards and vow to never go to the event again

In her interview with Billboard, the singer spoke about her night at the 2016 Met Gala and revealed that she nearly relapsed.

"It was very cliquey", Lovato told Billboard. "I remember being so uncomfortable that I wanted to drink".

After being trigged that night at the gala, the star confessed that she texted her manager and immediately left the event and headed to a 10 p.m. Alcoholics Anonymous meeting.

25 year old Lovato has a low threshold for any kind of fakeness and falseness, and chooses who she hangs out with on that basis.

"I think society tells us we need makeovers, but why can't we embrace the beauty that we naturally have?" says Lovato, dressed in a "Don't Mess With Texas" T-shirt, nails painted an inky shade of Chanel rouge-noir polish, musing on her impending makeunder an hour before the shoot.

Demi Lovato isn't afraid to be vocal and passionate about certain issues, especially when it affects her fans. "When you aren't mentioned in a post but didn't do s- to the other person", she said at the time. She followed that up with an Instagram post of the photo in question and a scathing caption. She also told Australian radio hosts Kyle and Jackie O the 2013 Met Gala "sucked".

"This picture pretty much summed up my first and probably last met #cool #sofuckingawkward #notforme #sweatpants #forensicfiles #whatsgood."
"I'm pro-gun control. Obviously for me...politics are hard to talk about".

And now, in another spirited act of honesty, a small team of people gathers in her home, a breezy Hollywood Hills retreat she purchased after her fifth studio album Confident went gold, to film the "Sorry Not Sorry" singer shedding one more layer, a move that will wipe the slate clean. "I'm loving myself - not for what I look like, but for who I am". "Sometimes there's more shit going on than you see".

She continued by critiquing artists who don't use their voice to fight for change. "I'm really excited to bring them on tour with me again in hopes to reach and inspire thousands of fans". "I'd rather annoy people with my honesty and loud opinions than stay silent and be fake as f-".

In the photo, the "No Frauds" rapper didn't seem thrilled to be sharing the spotlight with Lovato, who later made light of the situation.
