Faith Hill explains husband Tim McGraw's frightening on-stage collapse

Country music singer Tim McGraw collapsed last night during Dublin's 3Arena Country to Country extravaganza.

McGraw's performance was part of the Country to Country (C2C) music festival, which covers three cities in three days - London, Glasgow and Dublin.

His wife and fellow country singer Faith Hill was accompanying him on stage because the 50 year-olds have been touring together over the past year.

"He's been super dehydrated", Hill said to the crowd, in a video captured by an audience member. "We've all been a little bit dehydrated, traveling so much, and he's been super dehydrated, and I apologize, but I made the decision that he can not come back out onstage".

McGraw reportedly had just finished a song when he sat down, then "slumped to his knees as he walked off stage".

Away from the country music scene, Tim teamed up with rapper Nelly for the 2004 hit Over and Over, which reached number one in the UK.

Tim McGraw looked to be in good health as he and Faith Hill left the establishment.

A representative for McGraw said that the artist "will be fine". "So drink water, people, keep yourself hydrated". "The crowd was very understanding and chanted, 'Get well, Tim, '" the eyewitness shared. Many fans at the show and at home sent out love and support to McGraw on Twitter.

McGraw and Hill are now scheduled to start another tour on May 31. It happens, where you lay down and you think, 'Why am I doing this?
