Floyd Mayweather Says He's Applying For MMA License

'We want to make sure that everything is done correctly, and everything is done the right way. "Hopefully, we can fight", Mayweather told TMZ.

Speculation is mounting of a second encounter between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor could be on the cards, with news that the American is seeking his mixed martial arts licence.

Mayweather, who improved his boxing record to 50-0 with a 10th round TKO of UFC champion Conor McGregor on August 26, 2017, has been hinting at entering the Octogen for much of the last few months.

Mayweather has already begun light MMA training and is hoping to use UFC Welterweight champion Tyron Woodley to help him master the techniques which are key in the sport.

The retired boxing legend ended his career at 50-0 after defeating Conor McGregor by TKO a year ago.

USA inquiry focuses on 4 air bag-connected crash deaths
Four such crashes involved model year (MY) 2011 Hyundai Sonatas and two others involved MY 2012 and MY 2013 Kia Fortes. Four people are dead after some air bags failed to deploy in Hyundai Motor Co and Kia Motors Corp vehicles.

"I'll probably need a little bit longer".

"I can wrestle. My wrestling game is not that bad".

It seems unlikely that the UFC would allow Mayweather to make his MMA debut against Conor McGregor, but that's certainly the fight that everyone wants to see and will surely make them the most money. My hand game, on a scale of one to 10, is 100.

Early last week, Mayweather fuelled the fire by insisting that he would soon start training to compete in the UFC, however nothing concrete was confirmed.

The former IBF world champion lasted all of three minutes before being submitted by Couture.
