Putin 'Couldn't Care Less' If Russian Citizens Meddled In US Election

Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny has been banned from taking part in the 2018 election

It is "overwhelmingly likely" that Russian president Vladimir Putin ordered the use of a nerve agent in the attack on ex-spy Sergei Skripal in Britain, Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson has said.

The worldwide community has rallied around Britain in recent days in pointing the finger at Russian Federation for the poisoning of Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia.

Asked by a Reuters reporter in the Kazakh capital Astana if Russia planned to expel British diplomats from Moscow, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov smiled and said: "We will, of course".

"We call on Russian Federation to address all questions related to the attack in Salisbury".

"Our quarrel is with Putin's Kremlin, and with his decision - and we think it overwhelmingly likely that it was his decision - to direct the use of a nerve agent on the streets of the United Kingdom".

"I told them: act according to the plan", Putin said, adding that shortly afterwards he arrived at the Olympic venue with the International Olympic Committee officials.

Speaking in a new two-hour documentary, titled Putin, that has been released on Russian social media, Putin said he had been en route to the opening ceremony on February 7, 2014, when he received a call from security officers overseeing the Winter Games in the Black Sea city.

"As far as a threat of isolation is concerned, we are hoping that common sense will prevail and other countries will at least think whether there is any proof or not and just how justified the rebukes against Moscow are", Peskov said.

The UK believes Russian Federation was behind the attempted murders of Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia because of the nerve agent used.

This is especially significant, they contend, because the woman survived the attack and dramatically identified him at trial. The upscale neighborhood where the weapon was found, was also where one of his victims lived, Fox News reported.

Mr Skripal is a retired colonel in the Russian military intelligence service.

The Moscow Times, citing the Russian-language Vedomosti business daily, said the party's structure would model that of the Civil Initiative Party, under which Sobchak was running for president. Trump told Prime Minister Theresa May the U.S.

Meanwhile he said the use of the Novichok nerve agent, a rare chemical weapon developed by the Soviet Union, had been picked because it sent a signal in its "blatant Russian-ness".

On Thursday, the leaders of France, Germany and the USA stated, "We share the United Kingdom assessment that there is no plausible alternative explanation, and note that Russia's failure to address the legitimate request by the United Kingdom government further underlines its responsibility".

"Russia should shut up and go away", Williamson said.

The US move to impose new unilateral sanctions on Russian Federation served further to underline how the Salisbury attack has become a lynchpin, off which the West is pushing Russian Federation harder over its worldwide activities.

He rejected calls for the England football team to be pulled out of the World Cup, telling BBC Radio 4's Today programme: "I'm more in favour of our fans going and mixing with Russian people..."

"The countermeasures announced by the Prime Minister are not exclusively about the attack in Salisbury".

In yet another statement from the State Department, Nauert condemned Russia's March 18, 2014, annexation of Crimea, calling the referendum used by Moscow as a pretext for the move "fabricated".
