The largest iPhone ever is coming this year, a second report says

One of the incoming models is touted as the largest iPhone ever, another model will be cheaper than the iPhone X but still sport some of its key features, while a third model will match the iPhone X in size but have upgraded features.

Like the iPhone 8 Plus, the giant iPhone would probably have a split-screen mode that lets users run apps side by side.

The cheaper iPhone X will use an LCD display and will continue to use Apple's Face ID.

MacRumors saved the images and said the screen may be used for an upcoming model, called the iPhone X Plus.

Apple has been struggling with the iPhone X since it launched, with sales targets dropping and even its mighty stock price taking a hit. This was planned for the X but abandoned in the end because of production problems.

The new iPhones will definitely give Apple a volume boost and it will be able to go head-on with the recently launched S9 and S9 Plus.

Two children killed, eight wounded in Yemen airstrike
The organisers say they hope to repeat the initiative elsewhere in the capital and in other areas of the country soon. Their statement comes a day after Russian Federation vetoed a resolution put forward by Britain condemning Tehran.

In another interesting piece of information, it is revealed that Apple could again propose a golden color on some models.

Like certain iPads, Apple is also apparently considering a two-SIM option for the Plus "in at least some regions", nearly certainly utilizing an embedded chip called an eSIM alongside a removable nano-SIM as a compromise to placate eSIM-resistant cellular carriers. Apple wants to offer eSIM capabilities but some carriers are resistant to the idea.

However, dual-SIM smartphones are certainly popular in Asia and also with road warriors who regularly flit between their home territory and different Asian countries. The iPhone X, on the other hand, is a radical redesign with edge-to-edge display and improved facial recognition technology. This model will also off an edge-to-edge screen and Face ID, and not include Touch ID.

The body will be around the same size as the iPhone 8 Plus, the report says, but the edge-to-edge design will enable the larger display size without bolstering the physical footprint.

In a note seen by 9to5Mac, KGI suggests that Apple's mooted 6.1-inch iPhone X will "use slightly less premium components" than the iPhone X, such as an aluminium frame instead of stainless steel.
