Arnold Schwarzenegger: 'I'm good' but 'not great yet'

He said'Thank you so much for all your wishes and for all the cards and the phone calls and the emails and the texts and all this kind of stuff that I got from around the world

The 70-year-old actor told them he's "feeling much better", although "not great yet". "I can't say, even with my positive attitude, that I'm great, because I'm not great yet", the former California governor shared in a Thursday, April 12, video posted on Twitter.

Schwarzenegger is on the mend after going into the hospital for an expected surgery to replace an artificial pulmonary valve in his heart.

Adding to this he said "I just wanted to say that I am feeling better, but I am not feeling great". Hearing that someone is undergoing heart surgery can be scary, but Schwarzenegger seems upbeat and ready to face the challenges. Great is at a totally different level, but I'm good. I got good doctors, good nurses, good care; everything was fantastic during the treatment.

Seated at a chessboard, which he says he uses to freshen his mind and memory, he said: "I really appreciate that very much and you're very kind". I get good care, good doctors, good nurses.

Warriors taking on Spurs in Game 1 of NBA Playoffs
Looking a little deeper over that same 40-year span, you'll find only five teams lower than a No. 3 seed that lost in the finals. Kevin Durant says the Warriors' 7-10 finish to the regular season was due to injuries, which had sapped the team's morale.

He expressed gratitude to the doctors and nurses that performed the procedure and now he's made a decision to express his gratitude to fans for their huge support. "We are moving forward!", Schwarzenegger also thanked his devoted followers for their outpouring of support following his operation.

Initially, Schwarzenegger's operation was just meant to replace a valve being used to correct a congenital heart defect - but he ended up having open-heart surgery.

As previously reported, the Austrian-born star had a pulmonic valve replacement in a planned procedure on March 29.
