Faulty Apple Watch Series 2 battery? Apple will fix it for free

Apple will repair Series 2 watch batteries for free

Apple is certainly no stranger when it comes to battery-related issues concerning its products, ranging from battery shortages impacting the company's ability to fix older MacBooks to an iPhone battery overheating and smoking in an Apple Store, forcing its evacuation.

In a rumoured, decidedly un-Apple move, it looks like the Big A could be about to let third-party developers design faces for the Apple Watch.

The new fix program mirrors a warranty update for first-generation Apple Watch models implemented past year. Repairs are available to owners up to three years after their purchase date, even if they didn't purchase Apple's extended warranty.

Apple has released a new service policy regarding the Apple watch Series 2.

Marathon Asset Management LP Decreased Hess Corp (HES) Stake
The stock of Hess Corporation (NYSE:HES) hit a new 52-week high and has $58.57 target or 4.00 % above today's $56.32 share price. It increased, as 78 investors sold CTL shares while 110 reduced holdings. 59 funds opened positions while 190 raised stakes.

Repairs are limited to the 42mm Apple Watch Series 2 models, including Sport, Edition, Hermès, and Nike+ models. The only fix is a replacement of the battery. An exact description of minimum requirements for eligibility was not included, but Apple is offering free repairs to those devices that do fall under the criteria. In this case, a visual inspection will determine if there is an actual mechanical defect, and if so, Apple will replace the battery for free.

Users have experienced their Apple Watch Series 2 batteries expanding in size without any reason.

This do not include the 38mm units or any other Apple Watch models, although Apple instituted a similar plan for original versions. If you own one and think the battery is defective, head over to Apple's Support page to schedule a fix.
