Four face charges after store robbed

Kim-Kardashian-Paris-arrest

Police said that on Thursday at around 8:30 a.m., a group entered a store and started taking items off the shelves.

The clerk asked if he could help and a person replied they "could do what they want" and motioned to grab something behind his back, according to police. The clerk was not injured.

Officers caught up with the suspects in the 500 block of Selkirk Avenue after a short foot pursuit.

One suspect had a replica handgun strapped to his neck and concealed by his hood. The weapons were stapped to the bodies of the suspects and concealed under their clothing. A third male was in possession of a machete which was concealed inside the front waistband of his trousers.

Of the eleven detainees - two women and nine men of different nationalities - four have been immediately remanded in custody including the alleged leader of the organisation who was wanted for two robberies with firearms and for evading custody.

Stephanie McCollum, 24, of Beachwood Drive, and Latefa Stanley, 24, of West Dennick Avenue, are both in the Mahoning County jail and both are expected to be arraigned Friday on charges of robbery and drug possession in municipal court.

Daniel Potter, 29, is facing nine charges including robbery, possession of a weapon for a unsafe goal and three counts of failing to comply with conditions of an undertaking.
