McGregor out on Sh5m bail after NY assault

Conor Mc Gregor In Handcuffs

Ultimate Fighting Championship star Conor McGregor made a $50,000 bond Friday and will be back in court in June over allegations that he and others attacked a bus carrying UFC fighters in Brooklyn.

McGregor will face a number of legal, and potentially bout licencing, issues in the United States over the coming months - he is due back in court on June 14 - but it may not prevent him from fighting in Russian Federation. "I would think given the fact that assault charges are misdemeanors and the most serious charge is criminal mischief, it's unlikely he would face jail time", he went on to say.

Fan footage emerged during the event claiming that McGregor was watching UFC 223 from the stands, and people are convinced that it's him.

"What the f-", Chiesa said. "They threw a chair through the window of our bus and we're stuck at Barclays arena".

Last year, McGregor boxed Floyd Mayweather, losing by technical knockout in the 10th round, but he hasn't fought for UFC since November 2016.

Both men had been on the "red corner" bus that had been attacked by McGregor and several of his crew on Thursday afternoon and, 24 hours later, they had been pitched together.

Police said 25-year-old Cian Cowley, McGregor's friend and fellow MMA fighter from Dublin, was also charged with assault.

Bayern win record-extending 6th straight Bundesliga title
Jupp Heynckes' side picked up the Bavarian derby win they needed to become champions with five games to spare. However, he credited the players and his backroom staff with the title win.

McGregor has been released on bail but has been ordered to return to NY on June 14 for his next court hearing, along with teammate Cian Cowley who was also charged.

McGregor and his teammates were not allowed at Barclays Center by the UFC for Saturday's event.

This relates to an incident where he, along with a number of friends, stormed a UFC media day in NY and attacked a bus containing fellow fighters.

And while Dana White does seem to be upset about his actions, there's no way they don't capitalize on this.

McGregor's meltdown left UFC fighter Mike Chiesa with cuts to the face, and landed the famed Irish combatant in Brooklyn's 78th precinct.

"No.no", White said on ESPN's 'Get Up!' when asked if he would help McGregor.

McGregor is not an American citizen and thus could be denied future entry into the country if convicted. "He's working on boxing Floyd Mayweather and then he's talking about fighting Khabib in Russian Federation right after". McGregor profanely responded on Twitter and wrote, "You'll strip me of nothing". "You know you don't like a Khabib and you don't like what happened or whatever, fight Khabib, you can come in here and do it legally".
