Nigeria moves five places up — Federation Internationale de Football Association rankings

Ghana has moved three places up, now 51st in the world and eighth in Africa with 603 points in the April FIFA/Coca-Cola rankings released on Thursday.

Nepal moved three positions up in this month's FIFA (Federation Internationale de Football Association) ranking, which are based on results over a four-year period, as published on this evening.

In Africa, the Super Eagles are now in the sixth position.

Coming from a 122nd ranking a month ago, the Azkals soared nine spots to 113th in the world, the highest ranking that the men's national squad has ever reached.

Senegal are second on the continent but they dropped a spot to 28th in the world while DR Congo climbed a spot to 38th.
