Nokia 9 to feature triple rear cameras, in-glass fingerprint sensor

Nokia 9 Latest Leak Reveals Triple Camera Setup, Snapdragon 845 and More Killer Specs

Now under the firm HMD global, the Nokia brand is still alive.

The high-end Nokia 8 Sirocco, is a high range smartphone that comes with a premium price tag of Rs. 49,999. The specs sheet confirm in-glass fingerprint sensor for Nokia 9, Snapdragon 845 as well as triple rear cameras with a 41MP primary sensor. Now, a Finnish site Suomimobiili has leaked out a complete specification sheet of Nokia 9 that lists all the expected features in the upcoming smartphone. The phone has a setup similar to the top of the line, Nokia 8 Sirocco. The company has done a commendable job in crafting this device; however, you have to pay a hefty price for it. The display comes with Quad HD screen resolution of 1440x 2560 pixels. The phone gives you premium feel when you hold it in your hands. The new Nokia 6 is built out of single block of series 6000 aluminium and improves upon its predecessor with a faster processor, a slightly tweaked design and better connectivity options. The screen is protected by 3D Curved Corning Gorilla Glass 5 toughened glass on the top. In terms of optics, there's a 16MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, dual-tone LED flash and Zeiss optics.

The new Nokia 6 will cost Rs 16,999 in the market. In the short time, we spent on the phone, it certainly left a good impression. HMD Global has chose to sell Nokia 7 Plus INR 25,999.

Nokia 7 plus has dual rear sensors with ZEISS optics, 12MP wide-angle primary camera and a secondary 13MP camera that delivers 2x optical zoom. The dual tone look does make the Nokia 6 look more appealing and will definitely make it stand out from the crowd in this segment. The demo zone where we got to test the camera had low light situation'; however it still did a good job.

The smartphone is constructed with aluminum, there's a 6-inch IPS Full HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone comes in two variants mainly - 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB, which can be extended up to 128GB via SD Card. The rear-facing lens combines a 16MP ZEISS lens, coupled with an 8MP front-facing camera. One of the interesting things about the camera is that this phone allows you to capture feeds from the rear and front camera. A USB Type-C port and a mono speaker is at the bottom. The dual lens module comes with one 12Megapixel lens with an aperture of f/1.75 and the second is a 13Megapixel telephoto lens which facilitates 2X optical zoom. We will talk about this in details during our review.

The contribution of India, however, to the overall sales of Nokia smartphone is still unclear.

By shipping with Android Oreo out of the box, users will be able to enjoy the latest Android features, including Picture-in-Picture for multitasking, Android Instant Apps to discover and run apps with minimal friction, 60 fantastic new emojis and battery-maximising features like limiting background app use.

Question: Which Android version runs on the Nokia 8 Sirocco? .

How this difference plays out on the actual phone, will be seen when we do a more detailed analysis. Both the variants have an additional support for microSD card and the memory can be expanded up to 128GB. The company has also partnered with Google for Android One program and Nokia 8 Sirocco not only comes with latest stock Android but also it will get faster Android updates for the longer period.

Performance too was not bad given it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor on-board, which is fairly new and can take the stress of multiple apps easily.
