On stand, Cosby accuser again describes alleged sexual assault

Top News: Bill Cosby faces accusers in courtroom along with supermodel Janice Dickinson

NY: A former model Janice Dickinson, the fourth of five accusers, reportedly told a jury on Thursday that Bill Cosby raped her in 1982 after giving her a pill that left her "motionless".

The woman at the centre of a sexual assault case against Bill Cosby has testified he gave her three blue pills at his home near Philadelphia in 2004 that rendered her incapable of fending off an attack by the man once known as "America's Dad".

Model Janice Dickinson, now a grandmother and the most famous accuser to take the stand in Norristown, a Philadelphia suburb, was 27 years old when she says Cosby raped her.

That was the time she felt cramps, to which Cosby gave a blue pill to supposedly help ease the pain.

"He got on top of me and his robe opened and I remembered he smelled like cigars and espresso and his body odor".

"I wanted to hit him", Dickinson testified.

Dickinson said she did not report the assault to police out of fear it would destroy her career.

"I thought it was a little bit absurd, given that Mr. Cosby was just a little bit younger than my grandfather", she said of Cosby's awkward early overtures. The model narrated she went to Lake Tahoe to meet with Cosby to talk about her career.

Another former model and aspiring actress, Lublin says she was 23 in 1989 when Cosby prodded her to drink two shots of alcohol in his Las Vegas hotel suite.

Cosby has denied the charge of aggravated indecent assault of Constand, saying any sexual contact was consensual. "Today I am on a sworn Bible".

Comedy star Bill Cosby is under trial for his sexual assault on women.

The criminal charges deal exclusively with Cosby's actions toward Andrea Constand, a former Temple University employee who says Cosby drugged and then assaulted her at his home in January 2004. Several media outlets have noted that unlike the first trial, the retrial has started in a post-#metoo environment, as the country reckons with widespread accusations of sexual assault in Hollywood.

"It's all a fabrication there", Dickinson said.

Prosecutors in his retrial were allowed to seek testimony from as many as five other women who claim Cosby also drugged and assaulted them.

After a failed attempt to confront the entertainer a couple of months later, Constand said she moved back to Ontario, Canada, where she grew up.

Public pressure had been mounting at that time as dozens of women came forward with similar stories against the aging comedian.

"No, poetic license", the Brooklyn native answered.

The protection has dismissed the opposite girls's testimony as "prosecution by distraction".

She said he then raped her inside a Lake Tahoe-area hotel room in 1982. "Don't call me a liar", Dickinson replied.

Cosby's lawyer Tom Mesereau grilled Dickinson over her 2002 ghost-written memoir, "No Lifeguard On Duty" that makes no mention of the rape.

'Here was America's dad on top of me, a happily married man with five children and I remember how wrong it was, how very, very wrong it was, ' she said.

A few minutes later, Constand said she became "woozy" and "weak", and Cosby led her to a couch in another room, placing her on her side.

She said prior to her alleged assault, Cosby often invited her to events as he cultivated a friendship with her.

"Do you want to explain what happened last night, because that wasn't cool", she claims she told him at the time.

He highlighted the fact Cosby paid Constand a $3.38 million settlement in 2006 to end the civil lawsuit she filed after prosecutors decided in 2005 not to bring criminal charges in the case.

"Thank God", she said. I remember feeling anger, disgust, feeling humiliated. "I wanted the pay cheque from the book".

The Bill Cosby retrial is slowly taking shape.

Dickinson may be now the fourth of five accusersNeill to inform their tales to the prosecution at the suburban Philadelphia courtroom.

During cross examination, a defence attorney seized on inconsistencies in Dickinson's testimony and what she wrote in the book.
