All eyes on Salah and Ronaldo ahead of Champions League final

Liverpool and Real Madrid are set to go face-to-face in Kiev on Saturday night to aim of becoming kings of Europe.

The Liverpool manager spoke to the media on Friday ahead of the showpiece final and revealed his admiration for Zinedine Zidane and his superstars, with Real hoping to win a third-straight UCL trophy and a record 13th European title. "People can say what they like, but we are not favourites, nor are Liverpool", added Zidane.

Liverpool, who play in England's Premier League, boast two goal-scoring powerhouses in Egypt's Mohamed Salah and Brazil's Roberto Firmino.

They are looking to get the better of a Real Madrid behemoth, which has seen off European giants Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus, and Bayern Munich. "Nobody expected us to be here but we are here because we are Liverpool". "The experience they have is a big advantage, 100 percent, to feel more confident but in the game the experience doesn't help all the time".

The 25 year old Egyptian, who has scored 44 goals in 51 appearances in all competitions this season including 10 in the Champions League, is a devoted Muslim.
