New Arsenal boss Unai Emery has identified Leno as the club's long-term replacement for Petr Cech. Leno has been strongly linked with a move to north London in recent weeks with widespread speculation suggesting we've been in talks over a deal.

SportBILD in Germany claims 26-year-old Leno will be presented to the media by Arsenal on Tuesday.

The Spaniard has wasted no time in making new signings since succeeding Arsene Wenger and has already acquired Stephan Lichsteiner from Juventus on a free transfer Borussia Dortmund centre-back Sokratis Papastathopoulos for £16 million. Both Cech and Ospina have one year remaining in their current Arsenal deal and it will be interesting to see how Emery deals with the situation.

Arsenal new boss Unai Emery see the German shot stopper as the flawless addition to his squad following Cech's inconsistent performances late in the Premier League and uncertainty over David Ospina future with the club.

Arsenal are also optimistic about reaching a deal to sign 22-year-old Sampdoria midfielder Lucas Torreira, who is at the World Cup with Uruguay.
