Evangelist says God told him he needs fourth private plane

Jesse Duplantis the Destrehan-based prosperity gospel televangelist is shown in a still image from a video on his ministry's website

"This is why the prosperity gospel is no gospel".

"Jesse, I didn't ask you to pay for it", God apparently told him. "Think about that for a minute".

He can fly around the world on his current jet, but he can't do it without stopping to refuel.

During the segment, Duplantis mentions a time when he had to unbuckle his seat belt to be able to speak to God.

Duplantis is the founder of Jesse Duplantis Ministries, which includes a weekly television program that reaches 106 million US households, according to his Amazon author biography.

Duplantis shows pictures of the three planes, which he describes as a Cessna Citation 500, an IAI Westwind II and a Dassault Falcon 50 purchased in 2006.

Jesse Duplantis, the Destrehan evangelical minister who lives in one of the largest homes in all of St. Charles Parish, wants to buy a a new jet.

The revelation that he needed a Falcon 7X came straight from heaven, Duplantis said.

In the video, the preacher recounted a conversation he said he had with God about the need for a plane.

He claimed in the video that he was told by God to "believe" specifically for a brand new Falcon 7X, which costs $54 million according to the report.

Paolo Guerrero Cleared to Play World Cup
That decision followed an appeal by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) which considered six months as too lenient. Guerrero had the right to a supreme court appeal because CAS is under the jurisdiction of Swiss civil law.

"I said "OK" but the first thing I thought of is how am I going to pay for it, and then a great statement that he told me in 1978 flooded into my mind".

Not so, if he gets his reported wish of a Dassault Falcon 7X, which he says could get him "anywhere in the world in one stop".

"I am a blessed man", he added.

Watching the video requires registering on the Jesse Duplantis Ministries website.

In the past, the evangelist has said he needs a private jet because of his demanding schedule.

Duplantis also said he was excited about the USA moving its Israeli embassy to Jerusalem. The campaign was shut down amid widespread criticism, but Dollar wound up purchasing the jet anyway.

He addressed the possible controversial nature of his request, according to KTLA sister station WGNO in New Orleans: "Now some people believe that preachers shouldn't have jets".

"I said "what do you mean?' He said 'Before you ask I'll answer". "This dope-filled world. And get in a long tube with a bunch of demons".

"The prosperity of gospel which many of these ministers are preaching is simply not the gospel of Jesus Christ - it is false gospel", said Jim Wallis, the founder of Sojourners, a prominent Christian community.
