How to pre-register for The Elder Scrolls: Blades

How to pre-register for The Elder Scrolls: Blades

Not Skyrim, not a Skyrim sequel, not a Skyrim spin-off, but a game that is actually being called The Elder Scrolls VI.

A teaser trailer gave very little away, but just the acknowledgement that Elder Scrolls VI is in the works will be an E3 highlight for many.

Fans of the Elder Scrolls series might recognize the name. That is about to change this fall when The Elder Scrolls: Blades is released for both mobile platforms.

Bethesda has some good news for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 users and announced that Fallout Shelter that launched on Xbox One is coming to the other consoles.

The game's plot is relatively simple: the player takes control of a member of the Blades, an exiled group of "the empires top agents", who upon arriving home realises it has been destroyed and needs to be rebuilt. According to Todd Howard, the game has been in development for years, and it's one that Bethesda feels uniquely positioned to pull off. It is going to be a very big first-person role-playing game with massive features and abilities.

The Trump-Kim Summit: What You Need to Know
The meetings also served as an ice breaker of sorts as the teams worked to get better acquainted after decades of minimal U.S. Trump landed at Paya Lebar Airbase on board Air Force One after cutting short his time at the G7 summit in Canada.

Just before the TES6 announcement, which closed out the show, the big guy teased fans saying that he wanted to show off something that the company had been working on for a long time. Maybe now Bethesda will stop re-releasing Skyrim. It's an online-only survival RPG instead of a single player shooter.

How Much Does Elder Scrolls Blades Cost?

However, Bethesda's lips are sealed on setting or any other details.

The trailer shows us a lovely landscape of what could be the main location for the game. These include randomly-generated dungeons, player-versus-player arena combat and town-building gameplay. Sadly we didn't get a subtitle that clues us in to where this next entry will be set. The game will definitely have elements of the first Elder Scrolls game, which was released way back in 1994.

In Blades you assume the role of a member of the Blades as you seek to rebuild your hometown. Registrations for early access is also now available. The DLC is reportedly releasing this year, although no release date was given. It's too soon to tell, though, so we're waiting on more info. There was also The Elder Scrolls: Blades. But at E3 2018, famed game designer Todd Howard dropped a bombshell of a reveal. For those who've become jaded with modding their PC game beyond all recognition, or scaling the snow-capped mountains in dizzying VR, it's yet another excuse to don the horned iron helmet and experience Skyrim in a fresh way.
