More comedy producers are following Seth MacFarlane’s lead by bashing Fox

Some powerful Hollywood producers and directors have criticized Twenty-First Century Fox Inc over its news commentators' support for the US immigration crackdown that separates children from their parents, with one award-winning producer threatening to take his work elsewhere.

Wexler served as a producer on Fox TV shows "The Good Guys" and "The Grinder" as well as "The Comedians", which aired on Fox-owned network FX. Saying he had great admiration for his colleagues at Fox, Levitan said he would "take some time to see where those people land, and at that point, make a decision about my future".

In several tweets, Apatow, who last worked with 20th Century Fox on the short-lived series "Undeclared", criticized Fox's owners, the Murdoch family, and said that every Fox employee has to reckon with whom they work for.

Levitan had tweeted earlier that he was "disgusted" to work for the company.

On Tuesday, Paul Feig, who collaborated with Apatow on Freaks and Geeks in the "90s, threw his lot in with the others, making a stand against Fox News" role in furthering the current administration's agenda.

FYROM name change deal with Greece signed by leaders
Since 1991, Greece has objected to its neighbor being called Macedonia as it has its own province of the same name. Zaev also hailed the deal, saying it "put an end to the longstanding problems which aggravated our bilateral ties".

He also showed support for MacFarlane, who had said he was "embarrassed" to work for the media giant in light of Fox News host Tucker Carlson telling viewers not to believe other news outlets. "And they are succeeding, by the way".

Levitan began expressing anger following the airing of Laura Ingraham's Fox News program Monday night, during which she likened immigrant detention centers to "summer camps" and "boarding schools", arguing that children are treated well, despite being separated from their families upon crossing the southern border.

Apatow has called on "employees of all of Fox" to "speak up".

"Not one new person who works for Fox or at Fox has spoken up strongly about their news channel supporting ripping families apart", Apatow later tweeted. "But I too can not condone the support their news division promotes toward the immoral and abusive policies and actions taken by this current administration toward immigrant children". MacFarlance went so far as to donate millions to NPR on Tuesday, but Modern Family co-creator Steve Levitan took it a step further.
