Steam Summer Sale 2018 may kick off today

Visit the Steam homepage here to see all of the sale items.

The summer sale for Steam is expected to start today thanks to a tweet from an outside party sharing the information.

Over the last couple of years, Valve has been removing the gimmicks from its Steam sales, so the prices you see on day one will remain for the full length of the sale, so you don't need to worry about a game becoming cheaper later on. As is tradition with Steam sales, this limited-time event offers enormous discounts on PC games big and small, from recent AAA hits to popular indies and retro games. The sale ends on July 5th, 2018 and its official name is the Intergalactic Summer Sale. Is there anything you'll be hoping to pick up? Some indie games can sell for less than $1 during Steam Summer Sales, which means you could walk away from an afternoon of shopping with a dozen new games without spending more than $20. Other games worth considering include Nioh: Complete Edition for $29.99 (40% off) and Final Fantasy XV: Windows Edition for $24.99 (50% off).

Melania Trump’s Jacket: "I Really Don’t Care, Do U?"
The White House responded to the fashion choice, stating, "I'd hope you guys would want to cover her visit with children today". As images of Mrs Trump surfaced online, social media was swamped with users in disbelief over her choice of jacket .

Each year the Steam Summer Sale, alongside the Steam Winter Sale, famously drops the biggest game discounts for PC gamers, with titles right up to the quality of the incoming Fallout 76 and Cyberpunk 2077 reduced in price.

The cards are traditionally released a week before the Steam Summer and Winter sales, with them then turning into sales cards at the start of the sales.
