Trailer, Release Date, and Everything We Know

Spider-Man

Ghost of Tsushima, at least, was the beneficiary of a lengthy gameplay trailer, showing a gorgeous game-world and bloody samurai-style combat.

Sony held its E3 2018 presentation last night and showed off a whole mess of trailers.

Could this mean the Avengers in all their glory could in fact be in the new Spider-Man game? Which, to be fair, looks impressive as hell.

We also get an intense webswinging chase sequence with Electro that takes place on the outside of the Raft, with the friendly neighbourhood Spider-Guy narrowly dodging some intense electric blasts.

Kim Jong-un's reaction to the out of place remarks has caused the clip to go viral, thanks to his WTH facial expressions. The United States and the DPRK commit to hold follow-on negotiations, led by the U.S.

When the weird (but entertaining) PlayStation media briefing ended the night before the opening of the Electronic Entertainment Expo trade show in Los Angeles, Sony Interactive Entertainment ushered us out into a Spider-Man-themed after party. It's reminiscent of the likes of the PS2's Spider-Man 2, one of the most beloved movie tie-in games ever, albeit much more technically accomplished and utilizing the full capabilities of the PS4. It was a good way for Sony to end the show, with something tangible, something bombastic, something that's brighter, breezier and coming out in just a few months time. And there's also a tantalizing cliffhanger that will surely make a few people eager to try out the game for themselves. The game's recreation of New York City is vibrant, vast and painstakingly authentic-looking, and the suits of characters like Spider-Man and Shocker were incredibly detailed and bursting with color. Now a seasoned Super Hero, Peter Parker has been busy keeping crime off the streets as Spider-Man.

Taking the web-slinger to The Raft - an off-island NY penitentiary created to lock up Marvel's worst villains - it transpires that Electro is orchestrating a breakout attempt.

Spider-Man is fantastic - at least based on what I played. It's available to pre-order right here.
