Dragon Resupply Mission (CRS-15)

The fans will propel the robot, by sucking in the station's air.

In addition, CIMON will be a first robot which makes interactions with people in space.

For more than 17 years, humans have lived and worked continuously aboard the International Space Station, advancing scientific knowledge and demonstrating new technologies, making research breakthroughs not possible on Earth that will enable long-duration human and robotic exploration into deep space.

When Gerst calls to CIMON, the floating robot will acoustically sense where Gerst is calling from, orient itself that way, and zoom over.

Cimon has Gerst's face and voice imprinted in its memory. It is developed by Airbus in collaboration with IBM.

Once on the station, Gerst will applaud Simon and will practice the bot to help in some science tryouts.

The robot is created to guide Gerst through various science procedures, and show videos or pictures as needed.

Swingman Paul George Lists Celtics As Possible Destination For Him
Even if James declines, he could still re-sign with Cleveland, like he did in 2016. It will be interesting to see what George decides to do.

CIMON will use a neural AI network to learn from astronauts.

The first AI robot "crew member" named as CIMON (Crew Interactive Mobile Companion) launched on Friday.

"It was helpful to train it to recognize him so that it will come to him when he speaks". This is the third time the company has blown both an updated dragon and the Falcon 9 for NASA. Dragon is scheduled to arrive at the space station on Monday, July 2. SpaceX will discard B1045 after liftoff, so don't expect a landing at the Cape or on a drone ship. This is the shortest change time required for the Falcon 9 rocket so far.

As part of the contract with NASA $ 1.6 billion (about 11,000 crores), unmanned Dragon capsules made 5,900 pounds (2,700 kg) on the 15th supply mission in the class laboratory.

Today's launch marks SpaceX's 15th cargo flight to the ISS. CIMON will help the geophysicist and volcanologist study crystals on the space station, solve a Rubik's cube using video data and play the role of an "intelligent camera" to document a medical experiment on-board.

And if you've watched any science fiction movies from the last 50 years, this is where it all starts folks.
