Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin reportedly got engaged

Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin kick off 4th July holiday with classic American tradition

Tear streams run down the faces of fans across the globe as news rings out that 24-year-old heartthrob Justin Bieber has become engaged to girlfriend Hailey Baldwin! As multiple sources told the gossip rag, Bieber reportedly popped the question on Saturday evening, July 7, 2018, while the two were out salsa dancing at a restaurant on a Bahamas resort.

"It's kind of a surprise, but kind of not", a source said when speaking to People.

Justin Bieber has been recently in news because of rumours going around with television personality Hailey Baldwin for long. "No one in her circle speaks about him when they are on the outs and she keeps her circle and team very small". "Excited for the next chapter!" he captioned a photo with the younger Bieber at the beach on his Instagram.

Meanwhile, Justin's mother Pattie Mallete sent out a super-sweet tweet which was full of love and adoration. "I just don't want to hurt her", he said.

Shortly after a source dismissed speculation insisting to TMZ that it was only a joke and that the couple had "no immediate plans to exchange vows". After the pair got engaged over the weekend, a throwback video of the couple meeting for the first time resurfaced online.

While the announcement may seem like it came out of left field, with Bieber and Baldwin playing coy about their recent reconciliation, it's not that surprising. "I need time to heal", wrote one upset fan.

"I don't want to put anyone in a position where they feel like I'm only theirs, only to be hurt in the end", he shared, adding that he really doesn't want to hurt her.

Bieber's parents posted social-media messages that are being interpreted as confirmation, as well. Bieber famously dated Selena Gomez from 2010 to 2012 and sparked rumors of a reunion with her a year ago.
