Mbappe Donates World Cup Match Fees, Bonuses To Charity

France's forward Kylian Mbappe celebrates after scoring their third goal during their Russia 2018 World Cup round of 16 match against Argentina at the Kazan Arena in Kazan

The 19-year-old rising star will give his bonus from each match at the tournament to the Premiers de Cordee association, a charity that assists sport-loving children with disabilities.

"Kylian is a great person".

France worldwide and PSG ace Kylian Mbappe is to donate his match fees to an Association which organises sports activities for children with disabilities.

Mbappe's incredible gesture has also persuaded his countrymen, including Barcelona defender Samuel Umtiti to join the fray after the 2018 World Cup.

Mbappe scored two goals against Argentina in the first knockout game of the World Cup to become the first teenager to do so since Pele in 1958.

Kylian Mbappe has added to his burgeoning reputation by matching a 60-year-old World Cup record held by Pele.

"But this is somebody who was a world champion compared to a young player who has lots of ability and qualities".

The Paris Saint-Germain striker earned rave reviews as he tore apart Argentina's defence and speaking after the match, Pogba told reporters that he was blown away by the performance of a player six years his junior.

But it appears that Mbappe isn't letting any of the hype get to his head, as best evidenced by the wonderful gesture he has planned for his World Cup earnings.

The statement was made in the wake of his country's 4-3 win over Argentina in the Round of 16 stage of the World Cup in which the teenager scored a brace.
