Orange Is The New Black Season 6 Trailer: Prison To The Max

The women of Litchfield Penitentiary are a long way from home in Orange is the New Black season 6, as they trade in their minimum-security home for a maximum security prison. Now newbies, they must navigate new rules and power dynamics, starting at the bottom, and getting hazed by inmates and tortured by guards.

After the tumultuous events of Season 5 that saw a riot engulf Litchfield, the stalwart inmates have now been moved to the maximum security part of the prison.

However doomed and apocalyptic this first glimpse may feel, die-hards don't have too much to fear: The series has already been renewed for a seventh season.

Season six will see the return of our favourite Litchfield inmates however. with new surroundings and drama arising around every corner, it looks like friendships are on the line and the struggle to survive and persevere is harder than ever.

All of season six will be put on Netflix on 27 July, and naturally fans are absolutely buzzing.

In the new trailer for Season 6 of Orange is the New Black, we see Piper (Taylor Schilling), Taystee (Danielle Brooks), Red (Kate Mulgrew), Suzanne (Uzo Aduba), Nicky (Natasha Lyonne), Cindy (Adrienne C. Moore), Gloria (Selenis Leyva), Blanca (Laura Gomez) and Frieda (Dale Soules) all having to get used to their new surroundings.

The new season drops on Friday, July 27th. After the negotiations to end the prison riot broke down, 10 of the main characters were left with uncertain fates when they were surrounded by the correctional emergency response team. Find the first teaser trailer below.
