Samsung Galaxy On6 with Infinity display launched in India for Rs 14,490

Galaxy S10 To Feature In-Display Fingerprint And 3D Sensor Tech

The smartphone will retail for Rs 14,490 via Flipkart and Samsung e-store starting July 5. In a more interesting reveal, a Russian site called Mobile Review, via BGR, claims to have had extensive hands on time with the new Note9.

When the Galaxy Note 9 shows up on August 9 in NY, it seems clear now that Samsung is going to show off new and advanced S Pen features. The same goes for the power button and volume rocker placement on the side of the tablet.

Aforesaid, the Galaxy On6 sports a 5.6-inch HD+ display on the front and Samsung is marketing it as 'Infinity Display.' Unlike the Galaxy S and Galaxy Note series of devices, the On6 has noticeable bezels on the front. We're not sure about the dimensions but this tablet's aspect ratio display could be 16:10 only, not 18:9. The stylus in Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will reportedly come with Bluetooth support to enable new features. It is powered by a 1.6 GHz octa-core Exynos 7870 processor with Mali T830 GPU. The chipset is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The logo is further down on the Galaxy Tab S4, but otherwise the overall design is basically the same, including the rear camera placement with LED flash.

The Galaxy On6 has the same specs that are found on the base model of the Galaxy J6. It also houses a front-facing fingerprint sensor which is embedded in the frontal home button.

Samsung's first Android Go smartphone has been spotted in the wild, confirming that just because a handset runs Google's pared-back OS, that doesn't mean device-makers can't customize it.

Samsung previously tossed around the idea of under-the-display fingerprint sensors - although there's no way to tell from these renderings whether that feature will find its way to the Galaxy Tab S4. The same silicon also powers the worldwide models of the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus, whereas those sold in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and China ship with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 845 and offer slightly better battery life and graphical performance but worse CPU processing capabilities.
