A year later, strong feelings in Charlottesville, but no violence

One year after the deadly rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, most Americans feel racial tensions have grown over the past year, and partisans - as well as white and black Americans - divide sharply on how President Trump handles race relations.

The statement Trump made one year ago, in which he blamed "hatred, bigotry, and violence on many sides" in the aftermath of the clashes between white nationalists and counter-protesters, was one of the most controversial moments of his presidency.

"We must come together as a nation", he said.

Almost a decade later, the 28-year-old from OR came to Washington, DC, as neo-Nazis marched through the nation's capital and rallied outside the White House.

After exhibiting fascist symbols for hours, a neo-Nazi protester rammed his vehicle into a crowd participating in an anti-racist counter-march, which killed a woman and injured 19 others. He then backtracked on his comments in a statement that condemned the Ku Klux Klan and white supremacists.

Some of the protesters carried American flags and wore hats bearing the motto of Trump's presidential campaign "Make America Great Again".

He concluded, "So when you see the President here talk about he is condemning 'all types of racism, ' remember his record over his presidency and the campaign and even before that". "Peace to ALL Americans".

In a strong and hope-filled call to action, Bro showed the same resilience that she attributed to her daughter, saying, 'I think the reason that what happened to Heather has struck a chord is because we know that what she did is achievable. As the New York Times reported, during a combative exchange with reporters at Trump Tower, the POTUS said the following.

Trump's tweet on Saturday faced criticism on social media as some jumped on the his wording of "all types of racism", after his claim a year ago that "both sides" were responsible for the violence.

"We celebrate the success of this economy without any question", he said. Though the event's permit submitted by Jason Kessler, which was issued by the National Park Service, planned for up to 400 participants, the group of white nationalists proved to be much (much) smaller than anticipated, and indeed much smaller than last year's display. I laid out something that I thought would be very powerful and that was the opportunity of bringing more resources back into distressed communities. Nevertheless, traditional business models are no longer sustainable and high-quality publications, like ours, are being forced to look for new ways to keep going.

"There are strong signs from the White House to both houses of Congress that we are making progress as the party of Lincoln", Scott added.
