Blizzard officially announces that "multiple" Diablo projects are now in development

Diablo 3 Nintendo Switch multiple Diablo Games

Though not an official reveal (which, understandable with E3 2018 less than a week away), we do have the confirmation that it is now in development, straight from the source.

Diablo III first launched back in 2012 for the PC, before it headed over to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2013.

Diablo fans are among the longest suffering subgroups of Blizzard aficionados, but the end is in sight - the studio says we're going to see more Diablo "later this year". Straight from the source, we've got our official first bit of hype regarding brand new Diablo goodness. Trust me when I say the team here is now crossing all crossable appendages regarding that potential tidbit of news. While we still don't know anything concrete about where the developer is taking the famed franchise, they did officially (and finally) announce that "multiple" Diablo projects are now in the works.

It's unclear what the multiple Diablo projects could be, but the one that's going to take longer to develop might be Diablo IV.
