Demi Lovato to Undergo ''Extensive'' Treatment For Several Months

Demi Lovato Allegedy Smoked Oxycodone Laced With Fentanyl Before She Overdosed- This Is The Same Mix That Killed Prince And Lil Peep

TMZ claims that sources with 'direct knowledge'of Lovato's recent situation claim that Demi had been partying in West Hollywood when she began texting her drug contact. She had been using that dealer since April. It's the same drug responsible for the deaths of Prince and Lil Peep. Supposedly the dealer "fled the home" when he saw Lovato laying in bed breathing heavily.

The pair then allegedly smoked Oxycodone "on tin foil" but the "Sorry Not Sorry" hitmaker was completely unaware that it may have been laced with fentanyl as the dealer had a "bad habit of buying [tainted] drugs from Mexico".

There's some good news from camp Demi Lovato - the singer has made a decision to focus entirely on herself and her recovery following her overdose, and will now spend months making sure she fully recovers.

A source said: "She will be in rehab for several months and is doing an extensive program to ensure she gets the help she needs". Miz Lovato is now seeking treatment, having entered rehab and visited an addiction specialist in Chicago. Lovato was in the hospital for two weeks before going to a rehab facility. She's cancelled all of her tour dates, and she's had some limited social contact with friends, including ex-boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama.

Demi had been sober for six years at the start of this year but revealed in her new track "Sober" - which was released in June - that she had relapsed. 'And I now need time to heal and focus on my sobriety and road to recovery'.

Live Nation and Lotus Productions offered their support and 'wish Demi Lovato the best now and in the future and we hope to see her soon in South America'.

'I want to thank God for keeping me alive, ' she wrote.
