Google Pixel 3 XL leak shows USB-C headphones and notch

Google Pixel 3 XL images leak again, and this time it’s the real deal (Update: unboxing video)

The addition would be noteworthy; finding USB-C headphones isn't exactly easy, as competing audio standards have made it hard for manufacturers to support devices with USB-C ports in lieu of 3.5mm headphone jacks.

Google has had a pretty tough time keeping their upcoming Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL smartphones under wraps.

Last week, Google Pixel 3 XL was leaked in a Clearly White colour option, courtesy of an image spotted by XDA Developers.

The Pixel 3 - and whatever other Goodies Google has to share - is set to be announced at Google's next "Made by Google" event rumoured to take place on October 4th. Instead of the brighter Orange on the Pixel 2, Google has gone for a more subtle green.

The Android 9 Pie release is the proof in the proverbial pudding that Android as an operating system has hit its stride. You will still find the main camera and LED flash on the top left-hand side with a fingerprint sensor on the back. Leaked photos of the handset show an XL sized notch at the top which is nearly twice as deep as the iPhone X's notch.

In terms of hardware, the phones will likely be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, given these are premium flagship phones. We see a USB-C cable, USB adapter, 3.5mm adapter, and a pair of headphones that look a lot like the Pixel Buds with a USB-C connector. Additionally, both Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL are expected to support wireless charging. A resolution of 1440x2960 with a pixel density of 494 is also stated, and there's further confirmation that the device will have just 4GB of RAM.

Though we don't expect to see the rumored Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL introduced officially until this fall, we may have gotten a sneak preview from a Ukrainian Telegram user.
