Google telling users that the Play Store doesn't have Fortnite

Now, when users of the Google Play Store search for Fortnite, they see a message which reads; "Fortnite Battle Royale by Epic Games, Inc is not available on Google Play".

Community members have expressed their desire for the chance to put skins on their weapons in Fortnite: Battle Royale ever since the game's release in 2017.

Epic is using a special Fortnite Installer on the company's website, so you're not going to find what you're looking for in the Google Play Store like other mobile games.

Car Strikes Cyclists, Houses of Parliament Security Barrier: Armed Police Response
The vehicle was seen at large security barriers which surround parliament and protect its buildings from traffic. Ewalina Ochab, a witness, told the Press Association that the collision appeared to be deliberate.

Once the APK file is installed, it will install Fortnite on your device. Samsung owners can run it on the Galaxy S7, S8, S9, Note 8, Note 9, Tab S3, and Tab S4 devices. Here's all the compatible Android devices. The Fortnite in-game menu now teases the Heavy Sniper, which will come in both a legendary and epic variants. You have to be signed up to get an invite and download the beta. All you need to do is fire up Galaxy Apps and search for it (though right now it's featured on the front page). That decision was also followed up with a deal with Samsung to make Fortnite uniquely available to Galaxy Note 9 for a pre-defined period of time. When your invitation is registered, you'll be able to download the Fortnite Installer. It's steering people away from fake and possibly risky apps that might try to cash in on the confusion of Fortnite not being in the one place you'd really expect it to be.

However, it's also very possible that Epic will simply ban the account used to access Fortnite as well as the smartphone that it's running on. The bad news is that means an invite is still required to actually play the game, but the good news is that fans can actually pre-install the beta. In fact, they may not even know that you can get Android apps outside of the Play Store. While the message itself appears relatively mundane, this is not standard practice for the Google Play Store.

Fortnite is available now for Nintendo Switch, iOS, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
