Leicester to debut possession game at United, says Schmeichel

Leicester are not interested in selling Harry Maguire to Manchester United

Manchester United target Harry Maguire will not be moving Old Trafford in the January transfer window, according to the Leicester City defender's teammate Ben Chilwell.

'He's a different character, of course, but it's a different situation, ' Puel said ahead of Leicester's Premier League opener with United. The player was offered to them for just £15 million last summer before he completed his move away from Hull City to join Leicester, who paid £12 million to sign him.

"It's a good feeling, it was the first time last season I came to a club in the middle of the season without preparation or pre-season friendly games to prepare something", he added.

"The World Cup helped [He played in all three of Nigeria's games in Russian Federation, starting twice] - we didn't get to go through but it was a good experience and good fitness".

"Harry is happy to remain with us". But it is looking good this season.

"I am happy to keep Harry. It would have been a good reward for our play".

Ronaldo in intensive care in Ibiza with pneumonia
During his playing career, Ronaldo was famous for his blistering pace and phenomenal goal-scoring record. Pneumonia is swelling of the tissue in one or both lungs and is usually caused by a bacterial infection.

"For us it is not possible". We saw that again tonight (Friday), how good a player he is. It is not serious'.

Chilwell who says his team-mate has no plans to quit the King Power Stadium.

Leicester are in advanced talks to sign two centre-backs - Filip Benkovic from Dinamo Zagreb and Caglar Soyuncu from Freiburg - at a combined cost of about £35m.

It was too little too late for Leicester but Puel felt his side deserved more from their trip to Manchester, where James Maddison, Ricardo Pereira and Rachid Ghezzal debuted.

Leicester City are supposedly happy to hold onto Maguire - or let him go - given the fact that they have covered the defender's position should he leave, and have clear reinforcements, should he stay, putting the ball right back into Manchester United's court.
