Paul Pogba, Jose Mourinho, Ed Woodward

Alan Shearer has revealed what factor has an impact on Jose Mourinho's Manchester United future

Asked about Pogba after Barcelona kicked off their season with a 2-1 win over Sevilla in the Spanish Super Cup, Bartomeu commented that he wouldn't speak about names, "as we have respect for other clubs and there are 20 days left [before the transfer window shuts]".

A report from RMC claims that Pogba instead wants to remain at Old Trafford, and become a leader for the next generation.

The Dutchman's honours in Manchester include four Premier League titles- three consecutive between 2006 and 2009- and memorably saved the decisive penalty from Nicolas Anelka to win the Champions League for Manchester United over Chelsea in Moscow in 2008.

It was a memorable night for World Cup victor, Paul Pogba.

Pogba excelled for France at Russian Federation 2018.

However, the former Juventus midfielder hinted at an ongoing impasse with Mourinho by stressing: "If you're not happy, you can not give your best", Pogba said.

Paul Pogba has found it hard in recent seasons to produce consistently good performances for Manchester United, but in their opening fixture of the new Premier League season, the Frenchman seemed like a totally different player.

Pogba was also asked about the contrast playing for Red Devils and Les Bleus.

"There are things I can not say otherwise I will get fined", he added. I do not say it for this player [Pogba].

Pogba was pushed on his response and said that "if you're not happy, you can not give your best" when asked about what represents happiness and comfort for him.

The two had exchanged tense comments in the media over the summer - primarily with Mourinho urging Pogba to replicate his World Cup form in Manchester. No, I just have to be myself and do what I know, do what I can do and do what I know to do.

Bartomeu suggested that more players will leave the club before the window closed but didn't rule out incomings either. For me, it was a dream come true. "We play against a team that invest more than us".
