Eric Trump: Woodward wrote book to 'make three extra shekels'

Bob Woodward's new book

Woodward's book has also led to a public feud between the journalist and Eric Trump after the president's son was accused of making an anti-Semitic comment during an interview on "Fox & Friends". "While I generally enjoy reading fiction, this is a uniquely Washington brand of literature, and his anonymous sources do not lend credibility".

In one section, Woodward examines the President's disconnect from matters of national security, which prompted Trump to question why the United States was even devoting precious military resources to Korea in the first place.

"Fear" has already sold more than 750,000 copies, Simon & Schuster announced Wednesday, the day after the book arrived in stores. "And to use invective and this attack rhetoric, whatever it might be, it sets us back".

Bob Woodward says key people in the White House say they spend a third of their time preventing bad things from happening.

"I found FEAR to be the biggest piece of garbage I have ever read", wrote one Amazon customer, who, while claiming not to be a Scientologist, swears he's no "Hubbard-hater" either. It is virtually assured of joining Michael Wolff's "Fire and Fury" as a million-selling takedown of Trump.

Cohn did not detail his complaints with the book, telling Axios: "I am proud of my service in the Trump Administration, and I continue to support the President and his economic agenda".

However, the news reported by America's Last Line of Defense is fake.

Woodward's publisher, Simon & Schuster, has reportedly ordered a ninth printing of Fear, which reportedly garnered more pre-order sales than any other book in the company's 94-year history.

"But don't you think people look through the fact that you can write a sensational, nonsense book, CNN will definitely have you on there because they love to trash the president?"

As The Hill noted, the White House called Woodward's book "reckless", threatening to take legal action against the Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist.

Woodward, since becoming famous in the 1970s for his Watergate reporting, has written several bestsellers about sitting presidents.
