Here's when Apple's new watchOS and tvOS updates will be available

All supported devices, starting from the iPhone 5S and newer as well as from iPad Air and newer will be getting the iOS 12 stable updates.

If you've been itching to try Apple's latest operating system, you're in luck - iOS 12 will be available to download on Monday, Apple announced at its keynote event on Wednesday.

After detailing all that iOS 12 has to offer in early June, Apple is ready to release the final version of its new software. iOS 12 officially launches September 17, at which point compatible iOS devices will be notified of the available update. Here's what new, what you need to know, and how to get it now. What do you think will be your favorite new feature?

With iOS 12, Apple is introducing a host of new features and upgrades too. All three iPhones will come with iOS 12 out of the box.

A new augmented-reality Measure app will let you - ahem - measure distances with only your phone camera. Super helpful for things like redoing your living space or trying to calculate whether your couch is long enough for all of the Hemsworth brothers to lay on it.

As Hurricane Florence approaches, Waffle House activates ‘storm center’

You have verified, through community comments or discussions with developers, that your essential apps-particularly utilities!-will run properly in Mojave. A better question is, "When should you upgrade?"

iOS 12 has a feature called Screen Time which will show you how much time you're spending on your phone. Created to manage the time you spend on your phone and on social media, users can set daily limits and restrictions with the update. More power to you! This is both exciting and also a little shameful for those of us who stare at their screen more often than not.

Notification grouping on the lock screen: Push notifications will be stacked and grouped by app and topic.

Apple has released at least 10.14.1, if not 10.14.2. Just keep your Siri Remote and internet connection handy when 17th September arrives.

Want to pull up photos based on the people in them? Apple states on their website. Siri will help you do all of that.
