Mychal Kendricks visits Seahawks

Jan 3 2016 East Rutherford NJ USA New York Giants tight end Will Tye carries the ball to score a touchdown as Philadelphia Eagles

Kendricks isn't expected to be sentenced until January 24, and according to Schefter the Seahawks will put him right to work. The reason that's notable is because even if Kendricks were to sign with the Seahawks, there's a chance he wouldn't be able to finish the season.

On the heels of being arrested and charged with insider trading, former Philadelphia Eagles and Cleveland Browns linebacker Mychal Kendricks reportedly visited with the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday.

Kendricks, 27, is a six-year National Football League veteran who, prior to Cleveland, had spent his entire career with the Philadelphia Eagles. The linebacker, who signed a one-year deal with the Browns in June, lasted just two months he was released after the team became aware of his legal issues. The Browns released him after he was indicted.

Firefighters pray at scene where mom, baby killed during Florence
In New Bern, at the confluence of the Neuse and Trent rivers in North Carolina, the storm surge overwhelmed the town of 30,000. It already had, in Beaufort County and its capital city, Washington, where 300 people were rescued from flooded homes.

"Four years ago, I participated in insider trading, and I deeply regret it", Kendricks said via statement. Considering Kendricks is set to be sentenced sometime in December, maybe they're content to see what they can get out of him until then and forget about the optics.

Kendricks, who turns 28 later this month, admitted before a federal judge in Philadelphia that he swapped cash, National Football League tickets and access to parties with a Wall Street-connected associate for nonpublic, market-shifting information.

We'll see as this all unfolds what type of punishment Kendricks will face for his actions. He and Sonoiki were charged with one count of conspiracy to commit securities fraud and one count of securities fraud.
